Auckland’s changing light keeps me looking up. I like people who bring that same sense of possibility into a room.

Coastal photography is mostly an excuse to spend more time outside. When the weather turns, I am usually cooking something ambitious or finding a new film. My ideal company is curious, kind and comfortable letting a conversation take its own shape.

I am rarely disappointed by a day that changes its mind. A sudden shower can become an excuse for a long lunch; a missed turning can reveal a lovely view. I enjoy company that finds a little possibility in those small detours.
