Some of my favourite afternoons start with a simple question: shall we see where this street goes?
Working with clay has made me patient with imperfect things. A handmade cup, a slightly chaotic dinner and an honest conversation all have their own charm. I enjoy discovering a neighbourhood slowly, stopping for whatever catches our attention rather than following somebody else’s list.
There is nearly always clay under my fingernails and a new idea in my notebook. I am more interested in sharing an experience than getting it exactly right. Tell me what you have made recently, even if it was only a very good breakfast.
